Material properties, shared by every verification. The cross-section is not shared: SIA 263 classifies it from the internal forces, so it belongs to each verification and appears with it.
Classifies a plated steel section or a circular hollow section to SIA 263:2013, element by element against tables 5a and 5b, and names the calculation method the class allows and the clauses that follow. Every step shows its formula and the clause it comes from.
You enter fy,k from table 1 of your copy of SIA 263, for the grade and the plate thickness, the type of section and up to six plate elements: for each, the edge support, the free edge of an outstand, the stress distribution, the thickness t and the flat width b. The width follows the geometry of table 5a or 5b: a rolled web between the root fillets, an outstand from the fillet toe or weld toe to the free tip. You also choose the intended method and the solicitation.
You get ε, the slenderness and three limits of each element, its class, the class of the section, the method it allows, the clauses from table 7 and a pass or fail for each element. With the Basic plan, it prints as an A4 calculation note.
A section in fy,k = 355 N/mm² with a web 190 × 6.2 mm in simple bending and a flange outstand 43.5 × 10.7 mm in uniform compression with its free edge compressed, checked for EE and to be verified for bending. These are the module's own results for its worked example, computed when this page was built.

Verified clause by clause against SIA 263:2013 and against independent calculations used on real projects, before release.
Table 5b states 14ε outright for that row. The general class 3 expression would give 13.77ε; the explicit row is used.
Not by itself. Clauses 4.3.2.1, 4.3.4.1 and 4.2.4.3 add conditions on the hinge zones, the distance between lateral supports and the column slenderness. This module does not check them.
The full calculation is shown on screen, free and without an account. A print-ready A4 calculation note is part of the Basic plan.
